Enjoy the end of the summer season in Mallorca

During September, Mallorca enjoys a pleasant climate that is still warm but not too hot. It is the perfect time to take a peaceful break away from the crowds.

Once August is over, there are fewer tourists, and although the temperatures drop, summer continues. For this reason, at Balneario Illetas, we recommend spending a few days on holiday in Mallorca at this time of year.

After August, the number of visitors drops, and it's quieter again, providing an opportunity to indulge in outdoor activities with greater ease. Kayaking or paddle boarding is now more enjoyable and safer than in summer when the water teems with bathers, boards, jet skis and boats.

Also, towards the end of the summer season, strolling alone on the soft, white sandy beaches is a delightful experience. Getting your feet wet, enjoying the beautiful views, feeling the sun's rays and the gentle breeze on your cheeks - what more could you ask for?

Things to do in Illetas on cloudy days

The Porto Pi shopping centre, which has a wide range of stores, is easily reachable by car or bus. Puerto Portals, Mallorca's most well-known port, is just a few minutes from Illetas. While it is an open-air location, some galleries and shops can provide shelter from the rain.
